Does Your Company Website Need A Blog?

It is estimated that over 25% of all websites use WordPress as the site’s content management system (CMS). It would seem to me that adding a blog to the site would be a no-brainer. And yet, this is a focal point of considerable discussion in many small businesses today. To me, the better question is, why would you not have a blog on your company website? Now there is a good question!

The fact is, there are a lot of good reasons to have a blog as a part of your company’s website.

The main reason I hear for not having a business blog is, “I spend all of my time working on my business and do not have any time to write articles for a blog.”

Actually, that makes a lot of sense. It is easy to get so busy with building a business that you do not even have time to look up. You have a website and it looks good. It is easy to navigate and well written. But somehow, the traffic is not as much you thought it would be and you were counting on that getting more visitors and customers. You wonder, “what went wrong?”

Maybe you need that blog more than you thought!

In this series, I will explain why your business site needs a blog.  It will be a simple explanation of how your business will benefit from using a blog to promote your goods or services without resorting to any hard-sell practices.
